RSS News Feeds Terms of Use
  The University of Utah RSS News Feeds are managed by the University Marketing and Communications Office. Please contact the calendar administrator regarding any questions about the news feeds submission policies or terms of use.
 
 

What are the terms of use?

The University of Utah offers RSS as a free service to any individual user or non-profit organization subject to the following terms and conditions:
  • Use will be for non-commercial purposes.
  • You must use the RSS feeds as provided by the University of Utah, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied by the University of Utah.
  • Use is accompanied by proper attribution to The University of Utah as the source.
  • The University of Utah's RSS News Feeds are covered by the guidelines established in the University of Utah's Information Resources Policy (PPM 1-15) and World Wide Web Resources Policy (PPM 1-16). These policies include prohibiting any use that would conflict with any state or federal laws.
  • The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full article on the University of Utah Site. You may not display the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable University of Utah Site web page. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the RSS link and the applicable University of Utah web page.
 
  The University reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS feeds for any reason including, without limitation, your violation of any provision of these Terms of Use. The University of Utah assumes no liability for any of your activities in connection with the RSS feeds or for your use of the RSS feeds in connection with your website.
